Chocolate and almond energy balls

These are a scrummy little snack, ideal for perking up flagging energy levels and really easy to make. They remind me of chocolate covered marzipan 😊

Ingredients:

20g of either vanilla or almond protein powder
100g of ground almonds
100g of almond butter
2 teaspoons of almond extract
25g of runny honey
40ml of unsweetened almond milk
Raw cacao powder / unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting

Simply mix everything up in a large bowl (no blender required, hurrah!) and roll into small balls. Dust a small plate with the cacao / cocoa powder then lightly roll each ball over this to coat.

Leave in the fridge for an hour to firm up, then enjoy. Keep them stored in the fridge 😊
